Interview with Patricia Hill Collins

On October 29, 2019, a group of intellectuals met at the Sociology Department usp, initiative Tempo Social editor, for an interview with Patricia Hill Collins, internationally renowned American intellectual, who opened new perspectives Black feminist thought, as critical social theory. The departure point was Collins book, entitled Intersectionality Critical Theory, where she explores parallels between challenges faced by those activists-intellectuals coined notion intersectionality, and today. During conversation, other themes emerged, exploring author’s research agenda her previous books, well current studies on racial relations anti-racist militance.
